World’s largest sticker ball graces Colorado’s Statehouse

A Longmont company brought the world's largest sticker ball to the State Capitol.

It's every child's dream!

The world's largest sticker ball visited Colorado's Statehouse Tuesday, to remind legislators to "stick" to the issues that matter to business owners.

The sticker ball, which will receive its formal title from the Guinness Book of World Records tomorrow, is the brainchild of StickerGiant CEO John Fischer and Marketing Director Jesse Michaels.

It weights 230 pounds and is layered with more than 150,000 stickers. Fischer told The Colorado Independent that Wednesday is National Sticker Day, and the ball includes stickers from hundreds of Colorado businesses. Fischer said the ball will make a return trip to the State Capitol at the end of the legislative session, 121 days from today.

The official weigh-in tomorrow will take place in Longmont, where the company is based.
